Did you know that a colonoscopy could actually prevent colon cancer?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 22 million adults ages 50-75 still need to be tested, even though statistics show that approximately one in 20 people will get colon cancer. So why do so many adults 50 and over still avoid getting one, especially since a colonoscopy can actually prevent colon cancer? It’s because the test is embarrassing, uncomfortable, invasive and time-consuming.

To ensure that a colonoscopy would be a less intimidating subject, JGA employed a humorous approach to its latest campaign for PIH Health. The result is a perceptive and informative campaign that includes print, display and programmatic online, e-blasts/re-blasts and outdoor. The campaign is still in market, but initial response to the creative has been overwhelmingly favorable and the scheduling of colonoscopies has exceeded expectations.

For all of you 50 and over reading this blog, please “cover your butt” and schedule that colonoscopy today!
