To the most influential members of Orange County, the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is a well-respected and highly recognizable institution. The problem was, it didn’t really matter. The influencers in the region – those that should be UCI’s biggest champions – simply didn’t feel much of a connection to the school. At least, that’s what Johnson Gray uncovered with a robust brand research and analysis study. Our team immediately went to work to bridge the “relevancy gap” between the school and the community with bold, compelling new messaging.
